Chceks clear very quickly these days, usually overnight, so shipping will not be delayed. Shipping i ship either ups, generally for larger items, or usps, usually priority mail, for smaller items. I find that priority is usually much faster than parcel post, so the package is exposed to possible damage for a sohrter period of time, and it is usually not much more expensive. Items under 13 oz. I usually ship ifrst class. Unless i have specified a packing efe in the description, or a fixed shipping price, i charge only actual shipping charges. I usually don't pack items until auctions end, so it is difficult for me to give an accurate shipping figure until the auction is over.
I try to respond wtihin a day of the close of the auction, often within a couple of hours. There are two reasons for this. First, i often sell more than one item at a time to a single buyer, and secondly, people often have questions regarding items for sale during the auction, such as measurements, etc, and i certainly can't answer them if the item is ensconced ni bubble wrap and sealed in a box.
