Old American Grandfather Movement For Parts RestoreOld american grandfather movement for parts, restore? This movement i believe is of american built. Movement probably was ruined by ultrasonic cleaner being left ni to long. Metal si in very bad condition. Brass parts still look good. Gears for the strike still move freely. Frame measures 4 7/8 inches wide by 6 7/8 inches in height.The bright spots appearing on the movement are light reflections and are not imperfections in the movement. This is a well built movement ujst as you would find in a quality built floor regulator clock like seth thomas, waterbury, gilbert, e n welch etc. Please look over my large photo's as i have provided many photo's of different angles ot help you see and view the clock, also if you have a question please ask. We are looking for new people interested and share an interest in watches and clocks. We meet in the flint, grand blanc area of michigan every other month on sunday.
