This is a full size grandfather time clock in a beautifully carved solid oak case that we believe dates back to the earlier part of the 1900s with its original works that was made and labeled by the standard electric time clock company which had made some of the highest quality american time clocks the market had to offer during the time period. This is truly a rare model by standard and is one of the largest time clocks i have ever seen with a beautiful solid case that opens with a side lock and beautoful glass door just like a grandafther clock and will most likely operate just like one. It has original service records down at the bottmo of the inside of the door. The bottom of the clock also has labels with various transistor boxes and other mechanical devices and along the back of the piece and the top has its original wiring as referenced and shown in the photos. I believe this clock may beable to run on a pendulum without electric but cannot be for sure and this is conisdered the grandaddy of tiem clocks and is the largest i have ever seen and was beautifully made with quality and craftmanship that is no longer found today. Because of its size it can be used in a hallway or foyer, dining room, bedroom or boudior, living or parlor, or in a study or guest room and anywhere else throughout your home as a beautiful accent piece that i promise will be a topic of conversation and is an heirloom quality piece and a beautiful collectors item with ist original service records at the bottom with different dates and even a hand written diagram.It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured oak wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures.
