Antique Grandfather Clock Tubular Bell 5 Tubes GermanThe case is in good condition and shows some wear that is consistent with its age but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the clock. The wodo is mahogany i believe. Someone a long time ago has installed a light in the bottom of the case and switch on the left side of the case and both are out of sight when looking from the front. Teh plug has been cut off. These can obth be easily removed if desired. All of the glass is present and in great condition. Teh door has beautiful fret work wood carvings and really adds a special quality to this clock. The dial is pierced brass with a moon dial that si hand painted and in good condition. The tubes, weights, and pendulum are all present and appear to eb original to the clock. There is a winding key and door key.
The movement is marked winterhaldre & hofmeier and. The movement is tciking and chiming correctly but i offer no guarantee for the clock to run. It does soudn beautiful and melodic when it chimes. 82tall x 25wide x 17 deep. If you od not we will relist the item.
